How to become a successful content marketer?

If you want to become a successful content marketer you must have some basic knowledge and strategies to get started. You need to be the informational expert the company you work for, or the business you are offering.

Content marketing has changed a lot as the years passed by. The ways to advertise a product or business have improved for the better and even the media we now use for marketing has had a huge revolution.

In this modern era of daily changes and improvements in technology, none of the ways we once used for marketing might have a good result. By this, I am referring to traditional forms of marketing which would somehow bore people these days. So to be a successful content marketer, we need to consider modern techniques for marketing our businesses or products. One of the most effective advertising techniques these days is content marketing.

What is content marketing?

In simple words, content marketing is a form of marketing a business, product or brand with which you have to create, publish and distribute useful and relevant content about whatever your subject is, to answer people’s questions on the content and give them more detailed and relatable information regarding the specific content, to turn them from a simple audience to future customers for that business.

By now, you surely are wondering why content marketing is considered a beneficial strategy. In order to market our content, nowadays, we need to consider different methods as we once did in the past, because a lot of things have changed and there are more ways for marketing our content and capture more attention to our business or brand now.

Content marketing needs to be kept consistent so that you provide the audiences with up-to-date, valuable content about a certain business, and you are actually making them trust you and know you as an expert in that specific field.

What is a content marketer, and what does he do?

A content marketer is a person who is responsible for creating worthy content, planning them, and applying strategies to make customers out of the target audience.

Despite what most of you might be thinking by now, all a content marketer does is not marketing for a certain business or product, and blogging is not their main job. It is something much more than what you think it is.

There are a lot of tasks than just making a great blog with a catchy title for a content marketer. He is responsible for creating a valuable content marketing plan, an editorial calendar that can include case studies, research, tweets, blogs, videos, white papers, checklists, infographics, emails, letters, webinars, presentation, web copy, and plenty of other creative forms of communication.

Also, a content marketer needs to have a lot of detailed information on the content he is going to market, and he must have complete knowledge of their prospects. For example, their needs, when they mostly search, what makes them click on a web page, how to attract their attention and what they need, and more. So a very deep recognition of the mighty customers is needed so that content marketers can make them their upcoming customers and consistent buyers.

I found a very useful YouTube video on what content marketers really do, which I think would be great to share it here so you can watch it for more tangible information on this.

How to become a successful content marketer? (Make People Read and Love Your Content)

As a content marketer, you are the source of any information on the content creation and marketing plans of the company you work for. You need to have a few traits in order to be good at creating and marketing any kind of content. Some of the characteristics of a successful content marketer are as below:

  • Desire for responsibilities

The number one characteristic of a content marketer who is good at his job is to have a desire. You should not just look at your content marketing plans as a force task that you need to finish and give up as soon as possible, and You need to have a desire for what you do and the content you are creating. This desire would later lead to a very impressive piece of content that would fascinate anybody reading it.

  • Faith in the result

Another trait you need to have as a marketer of certain content is to have faith in what you do. Believe that the content marketing strategies you are creating are going to rock and are going to take your associated company or brand steps higher.

  • Great sense of imagination

It is a must to have an imagination as someone who is going to create and market content for a brand or company. Later, turn the imagination into words, and that’s all you need to be different and effective. You need creative and fresh ideas in order to compose good content marketing plans, whether it is a simple blog, infographic, book, or any other form of content. Ideas are the products of imagination. So try to make the best out of what you have in mind as the imagination of that specific subject.

  • A good amount of Knowledge

It is so obvious that a content marketer should have a basic knowledge of what he/she is going to create content for because he is responsible for introducing a brand or product to new people and convince them in becoming a customer. To be able to market your content, you need to either know the subject or research to get this information and begin rocking it and taking the whole business to the next stage.

  • Persistence and hard work

The world of content marketing is so huge and competitive, and you need to know if you want to chicken out in the midway, you are just wasting time and energy. There are lots of companies that begin with a simple content marketing plan and start a series of blogs, videos, books, etc. but they do not keep the required consistency and would be disappointed. Keep in mind that you are not going to be seen this easy, and this is why content marketing needs a lot of persistence.

How to make people read your content and love it?

You now know a bit more about the definition of content marketing, what a content marketer does, and what traits you need to have as basics of the journey to become a content marketer. Now the time has come to know the strategies you need to know and apply so that the content gets read and noticed by others because that’s all you need. You need to capture the attention of the prospects of your relevant business so that you’ll have the chance to make customers out of them. Below, are the tips to make people read and love your content:

  1. Make your own content (be unique)

The first step towards a great content marketing strategy is to create unique content that differs from similar subjects around. Whether it is writing a blog, a book, or a simple article, learn how to keep the originality. It is not a bad thing to get inspiration from other similar contents all over the web, but try to write them in your own way. To me, it is the most important factor, and that difference is what drives people’s attention to what you have created.

  1. Prepare to create the content

Before starting to create the content, you are asked for, ask yourself some questions and decide how the content is going to be created regarding the answers to those questions. Questions such as: who the target audiences are? What do they search more when it comes to similar content like yours? Where are the target audiences? What would audiences be interested in this sort of content? And more questions like this.

The answers to the questions above would help you decide on the content marketing strategy, which is most appropriate with your associated company, business o brand.

  1. Be active on social media

Nobody can deny the power of social media these days and the effect it would have on the growth and recognition of all kinds of businesses. You need to consider social media as the place to share your content and be sure that helps, especially when you include popular social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook which have the most daily active users.

So be sure to share your content (whatever it is) on social media so that they’ll be seen, and you’ll get clicks and visits to your website and the source.

Actually, the primary platforms for a modern content marketer to focus on for sharing content are the popular social media apps.

  1. Use the best social media analytics and monitoring tools

As I mentioned above, you cannot overlook the power of social media in your own content marketing strategy. That requires you, as the content marketer, to be active on the most popular social media platforms and be active on some of them at the same time.

It is not easy to manage several social media accounts at the same time since it takes lots of effort and time, but you cannot just ignore them, as well. I have a wonderful solution for such issues.

I, as a professional digital marketer, have always used social media analytics and monitoring tools to make my job easier, and that’s my recommendation for people like me. Inosocial has tons of services for all social media. Monitoring and analytics are one of the main services of Inosocial.

  • Social media analytics

Every business needs to analyze how their content marketing strategies are working and how are their audiences reacting to them. These are all possible through the Analytics service of Inosocial, which gives you complete information and data on all your social media account. Some of the main options of the Inosoial analytics tool are:

– To find the best time to post

– To track Engagement growth

– To track Audience growth

– To find Top post

– To find Top users

  • Social media monitoring

Businesses trying to market their brand or products on social media platforms should not just sit and expect their accounts to grow and get the best results out of social media. They should monitor their performance and keep track of what other relevant businesses are doing. The main options of the Inosocial monitoring tool are:

Hashtag generator: Use hashtag generator for Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to get more impressions and reach for social network’s posts and content.

Influencers finder: By giving the words to the system, you can switch between the related content or influential people of that area of interest.

Competitor finder: Track hashtags or keywords to find who is talking about those topics. Stay at the top and always rank higher on the market by finding competitors on social media using social media listening tools.

Instant notification of mentions: Monitor who is talking about your business by using social media listening tools.

Reply to mentions: Respond quickly to the clients using instant notifications services within management tools.

  1. Try guest posting

Another effective way of gaining organic traffic is to post as a guest of different popular websites or forums. You need to be a little more creative in content marketing here because you need to advertise indirectly so that the host website would not collapse your post. Good guest posts would have a wonderful effect on any content to be seen more.

  1. Create relevant content

To become a successful content marketer, first, focus on more relevant and similar things. Just imagine you are creating content and marketing a small newly made business on a local neighbor, which offers the same services as a huge similar company does. You cannot target that huge company at the very beginning, and you need to focus on smaller businesses the same as yours first, and then step by step as you grow, consider that well-known company a competitor and create relevant content competing with them in the future.

  1. Be disciplined in sharing content

Discipline is a must in every task you want to be successful at, so have a scheduled content marketing plan on when to share content on both the source website and social media. Successful content marketers should have weekly and monthly content schedules.

Below is an example of a great marking plan calendar from Rebecca Vandenberg, which can help you a lot, and you can choose this as an inspiration to yours.

https://www.rebeccavandenberg.com/2016-marketing-planning-calendar/
  1. Do not only focus on desktop traffic

It is useless if you are only thinking of the desktop version of the website and keeping marketing limited to that. Most of the people all over the world only use their phones to connect to the world and search for what they need from their smartphones. So remember to optimize your content for mobile as well, so that you can get attention from smartphone users as well as desktop users.

  1. Do not be afraid to take risks

If you want to be different in content marketing, and capture more attention than your counterparts, then be fearless because being different requires creativity and new experiences. So do not be afraid to try new tactics and turn your imagination into reality.

  1. Respond to feedbacks

It might be hard and more challenging to cope with the negative comments on your content and the company you are associated with, as the content marketer of that company, you need to be responsive to such behaviors because that’s what changes people’s minds towards your content.

Try to Respond to the negative feedback you get in a very convincing and logical manner.

  1. Keep it easy to read (Use shorter sentences, words, and paragraphs)

This tip is one of the most important ones, and even Moz.com really emphasizes on considering this tip. If you open about five similar blogs, which one are you doing to decide to read? The one which has long paragraphs without breaks and enough spaces and long philosophic words, or the one which has smaller paraphrases which are easier to read? Of course, you’d go with the one which has smaller paragraphs and also easier words.

So try to write as easily as possible so that the ones who do not know great English can easily understand what you mean overall. Use shorter words instead of longer words, as their synonyms, to create better content marketing plans.

Conclusion

All over the world, different businesses and brands all have the same goal, which is to create content that would boost their business, and their customers find them useful. In this era, one of the best ways to get people’s attention is content marketing which would help your content to be seen, and you’ll get business growth as well as a customer base that trusts you and finds you informative.

However, there are some critical differences between them, which should be considered while growing a brand or business.

In this regard, what types of content are you preparing and on which devices you are focused would be essential to have a successful marketing campaign? Mobile usage not only might differ according to a user’s profiles but also the activities people are doing on the devices is significant.

Most activities on mobile and desktop PC

In general, performed activities are divided into 12 different categories, including (1) buying products and (2) searching for products, (3) comparing prices, (4) online banking, (5) e-mailing, (6) reading newspapers, (7) watching videos, (8) online gaming, (9) uploading content, (10) listening to music, (11) using navigation, (12) chatting and messaging.

It is amazing to know that there is a remarkable difference between personal computers and mobile users based on the age of users. The smartphone is more prevalent among people aged 18 to 34, and the usage of phones and PC is equal up to between 35 to 44 years old. However, this interest is adverse for 45 years and above in which people prefer their laptop or personal computers over smartphones, which makes sense. It might not be so convenient for baby boomers to use smartphones.

Moreover, the percentages of using different devices are noticeable. For example, most favorite social media publishing tools are using both smartphone and desktop PC / laptop users (77%), followed by desktop pc/laptop only (13%) and smartphone only (9%).

By increasing the number of users spending several hours a day on popular platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, you need to have an effective strategy to keep your business on top.

Tracking and monitoring the strategies are the essential actions that a business should take to be a step ahead of competitors. Using metrics for your social media platforms plays an important role in knowing the success of your business.

By increasing the number of users spending several hours a day on popular platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, you need to have an effective strategy to keep your business on top. Tracking and monitoring the strategies are the essential actions that a business should take to be a step ahead of competitors.

What are social media metrics?

Let’s go through an example to know about the “social media metrics” better; you consider a goal for your business, which might be “increasing the number of your followers.” Then you can easily identify which social media metrics and measures are necessary to increase the number of your followers. To reach your goal, you should have some strategies such as sharing attractive posts, posting at the best time, following new users, commenting on users’ posts, etc.

To measure and make sure about the way your strategy work, you need a social media report and a measuring tool to show you the process of your taken actions.

In Short, social media metrics help you reach your primary before reaching the main one.

Using social media analytics and metrics are important because:

  • It proves your company’s success.
  • It shows how your strategies are working
  • It makes you free of spending a lot of time to collect data manually.
  • It keeps you aware of your platform
  • It is useful for users who manage several accounts
  • It is a good reminder of your social media presence

What should a social media report include?

Well, you can barely find businesses that include the same information in their report, so it mainly depends on the purpose of your report. After clarifying the important elements, you can decide what to include in your social media report.

But generally, whenever you decide to have a social media report, you should answer some questions from yourself:

  • Who should see the report?
  • What are the important factors in the report?
  • What information is related to include in the report?
  • In what format should the report be?
  • How often should I share the report?

Answering all the mentioned questions is a big help in deciding what to include in the report.

Now let’s review the most common metrics that businesses prefer to measure:

  • Number of posts
  • Net followers gain or loss
  • Number of likes
  • Post reach
  • Number of comments
  • Number of shares
  • Number of page/profile views
  • Number of clicks on post links
  • Number of clicks on the link in your bio
  • Number of story views
  • Number of video views
  • Top-performing post(s)
  • Number of leads generated
  • Number of conversions
  • Total revenue generated
  • Total spent (on social ads)
  • Social share of voice
  • Social sentiment

If you are preparing the report for your teammate, we recommend reporting a complete and in detail report, including what worked well and what needs some improvements.

Sharing all the related information will help you avoid future mistakes and experience a grow up in your company instead.

Moreover, you may need to get multiple reports for different audiences, so you should find out what’s important and matter for each of your audiences.

Now it is time to measure the social media metrics

Users have two options in getting analytics of their social media platforms, including the platform’s own analytics such as Twitter and Instagram’s analytics, or you can save your time and get more in detail information by using a social media report tool.

By using InoSocial, you will have access to the filterable social media reports. InoSocial filters the report by platform and date; then you can share the report with the teammates, send it as an email, get its pdf, download it as an image, etc. and share it anywhere.

Any of the metrics clarify specific information about your social media platform. In other words, it’s about interpreting what that metric tells you and translating that back to your business goals.

InoSocial’s listening and monitoring feature

Generally, social media monitoring saves a lot of time and collects all the relevant information about your business and shows all of them in one place to you. Then you can use it to develop your business and make up your mistakes.

Actually, you can monitor your social media platform manually and look for mentions, hashtags, keywords, etc. all by yourself, but it may take a long time, even a whole day! And after taking a lot of time to find some information, you may not find all the data you were looking for and you may miss some of them!

Happily, you don’t have to do it all by yourself; you should just leave it to a social media monitoring tool and use your time to promote your business.

How to use InoSocial’s report and measure tool?

  1. After signing up in InoSocial, you should tap on the “Measure” tab and choose the platform that you are willing to get its report.

We are going to try Instagram’s metrics as an example.

  1. If you have added several Instagram accounts on InoSocial, choose one of the accounts by clicking on it. Then tap on the “Generate report.”

  1. The report is set to show the 15 days report automatically, but you can change the date by tapping on the “Filter Date.”

Then you can get all the mentioned details:

  • Instagram activity overview

  • Number of following
  • Number of posts

  • Follower metrics
  • Total followers
  • Followers gained
  • Total you follow

What is social media monitoring?

Your brand’s social share of voice shows how much conversation is going on about your business across social media. This is what social media monitoring brings about.

A brand’s social share of voice shows how much conversation is going on about your business across social media. This is what social media monitoring brings about. Knowing what people think and say about you and the industry helps to understand their needs and the industry gap so that you can be some steps ahead from competitors to fulfill customers’ needs.

What we are going to cover in this article:

  • What is a social media monitoring and how different is it from social media listening and social media analytics?
  • Why is social media monitoring so important for businesses?
  • Answers to common questions and myths about social media monitoring

What is social media monitoring?

…and how different is it from social media listening and social media analytics?

Social media monitoring is to gather all the conversations and threads on social media about a specific subject or keyword and taking particular actions towards each of the messages or comments (for example, you can like, comment on, repost, block or report each conversation). There are several functional tools to gather these conversations from throughout social media and the internet and apply specific action on them.

Social media listening is the same process of gathering conversations and data about a particular subject on social media. The difference lies in what you do to the data in the listening. In listening to social media, you try to come to an analysis based on what people have said about a subject and draw social media and marketing strategic plans given the analytics made.

In most of the social media marketing literature and debates, social media listening and social media monitoring are used interchangeably.

Now social media analytics is the act of gathering all the data and information about a page’s performance on social media. The data includes the number of followers, numbers of posts, number of likes and votes, and every progress the page makes.

So, monitoring and listening are about your audience and what they say about you, but analytics is about the progress your social media profiles have made.

With understanding the difference between the three, let’s move on and see why social media monitoring is so important.

Why is social media monitoring so important for businesses?

To unfold the importance of social media monitoring for businesses, let us name some of the undeniable benefits it offers. Monitoring your social media and listening to what people say about the brands helps:

  • Better understand customers’ needs

When you type a keyword in a social media monitoring tool, all the conversations made across the chosen platforms about that specific keyword show up. If you are going to launch a new product, say an online app market, you might want to know what people say about some keywords, specific to this field of market. So if you want to use marketing strategies like using the best site to buy Instagram likes or create influencer content, frequent monitoring will help you to know if that has been worthwhile.

  • eye your brand’s social share of voice

As stated before, knowing what people think and say about a brand helps in discovering their needs and the industry gap. A brand’s social share of voice is about the conversation going on around a business across social media. This is another undeniable benefit that social media monitoring brings about.

When you know what people say about you, the next step is to strengthen your weak points based on customers’ expectations.

  • See what people say in reply to you, all in one place

Brands try to engage in conversations across social media to get more attention and exposure. The time put in conversing with different people across a variety of channels must pay off; otherwise, it is a waste of capital. So, you need to track all your conversations to see if people are replying to you or commenting on anything specific under your posts.

Inosocial gathers all the replies and comments and social mentions to your brand’s social media activity in one place, giving you the possibility to like, repost, see the source of, retweet and reply to them.

  • Keep an eye on your brand’s share of social mention

This is where you need to keep a sharp eye on. When a brand grows, people start talking about it. To maintain growing progress on social media, you need to monitor what people say about you when they mention your brand in their socials.

Answers to common questions and myths about social media monitoring

Most of the people come to a negative attitude when talking about social media monitoring and listening, or think of it as a spying service. Here, we answer some of your most frequently asked questions about social media monitoring.

  • Isn’t monitoring what people say on social media illegal?

No. It is not illegal in any way. Because what a social media monitoring tool does is to gather already published posts and comments in one place. When people publish to their social media, they know that the content won’t remain private and all people can see it. As long as they have not made their profile private on social media, their content is open to all people.

  • What tools are available out there for listening to social media?

Inosocial is one of the most trusted and most used tools out there. By creating searches and keyword monitoring queries in this tool, keep up to date on whatever subject you want to listen to in people’s conversations.

  • What is the cost?

Prices are different across different plans of social media monitoring. But there are 7 days of the free trial, where you can test all the facilities for free and then decide to continue. The free trial requires no credit card information.

To conclude…

In an ever-tightening competition between brands across social media, it is one of the vitals to know what is said about your brand. To add to the intensity of the need for social media monitoring tools, brands are now listening to what people say about their rivals. It is for two reasons; one: to see what people like about their opponents to copy that to their own business, and two: to know what people hate about other similar companies so that to avoid it. Monitoring social media now is not an extra point to businesses, but it is a must for those seeking to survive the competition.

Twitter’s analytics More tab:

This tab gives you analytic metrics about your videos and conversion rate to your website. If you have a website, this is a great way to see how your audience is trafficking between the website and your Twitter page.

Social media monitoring focuses on all the actions you took before, while social media listening is about the future of your platforms and actions.

Instagram DM Marketing for small businesses

Instagram DM, also known as the Instagram Direct Message, is a free feature that lets the users message each other on Instagram. Texts, images, links, videos, stories, and posts can be sent through a DM.

Instagram Direct Messages are one of the most underestimated tools when it comes to social media marketing. If businesses find out about the potentials of the Instagram DM, they will start re-planning their social media marketing strategy, giving a special space to DM marketing on Instagram.

The fact is that having a small business is a two-folded reality. While you don’t have a large business’s troubles and headaches, there is much to do to survive the ever-tightening competition in small businesses’ trail – save the desire to grow into a large corporation. One of the vitals to a small business’s survival is, no doubt, having a consistent marketing strategy.

That said, this blog post is dedicated to Instagram Direct Messages and Instagram DM marketing

let’s take a look at some Instagram statistics regarding brands and businesses.

As revealed by adespresso.com, brands and companies are having a large portion of Instagram attention for themselves. Keeping these numbers in mind, let’s see what a small business can do to benefit from this situation.

What is DM?

Instagram DM, also known as the Instagram Direct Message, is a free feature that lets the users message each other on Instagram. Texts, images, links, videos, stories, and posts can be sent through a DM. Instagram Direct message is both a private and group chat feature. Facebook has developed a free stand-alone app for it, called Threads from Instagram, in which only circles of close friends can get in touch.

You can access the Instagram direct messages on the top right corner of Instagram home:

How to use Instagram DM for small businesses?

Instagram DMs make up to 56% of the sales on Instagram. Therefore, having a consistent plan for DM strategy on Instagram brings about more sales and profit for small businesses and brands.

While the Instagram DM mechanism seems quite simple, most people don’t know how to use it for brand and product promotion goals. So, here are the most effective ways to apply DM marketing on Instagram:

  1. Use Instagram DM to welcome new followers

Welcoming new followers will nurture the relationship between the brand and the audience. When greeted warmly, new followers know that you care, and it leads to more loyalty on the side of the audience.

  1. Promote new products and updates through Instagram direct messages

DM is a great tool when it comes to product and update announcements. In a message, tell your customers what is new and what is to come. People love to hear on updates because this gives them a feeling that they are interacting with a live and dynamic business.

  1. Offer your Instagram followers great discounts in DMs

Exclusively crafted DMs for offering discounts lead to incredible amounts of conversion both in sales and Instagram performance.

  1. Hold contests and contact the winner through Instagram DM

Starting a competition and announcing it through DMs, and also following up the winners with direct messages give the feeling of exclusivity and specialty to a brand’s followers. Use the Instagram DM free tool to its fullest and hack your sales growth.

There are also four trust factors to consider before making up any messages for marketing purposes on Instagram (and any other social media):

  1. Accuracy

About 99% of customers pay attention to the accuracy of advertisements before trusting a brand; accuracy in terms of product explanations, related statistics, prices, quality, etc. If you are going to mislead your audience, then wait for losing them, because they will compare the information provided by you with other sources. So talk about both the positive and negative aspects of your product in the direct message.

  1. Exclusivity

Make your customers feel special. Send them Instagram DM’s that seem as if crafted only for them. Know their needs and tastes, and divide them into different categories. Then crafting an exclusive direct message will be more comfortable. About 77% of people also consider exclusive ads when it comes to trusting a business.

  1. Transparency

It is fascinating that 97% of people also care about the mission of your business. Inform them in Instagram DM what your product does, which problems it aims and how it’s going to solve them.

  1. Choice

Offering different choices to your customers makes up another important factor based on which people choose to trust you. Having a variety of relevant and exclusive choices is important to 95% of the customers.

Add these trust elements to your previous mindset on Instagram DM marketing and start selling;)

Are there any tools for Instagram DM marketing?

Well, as a business page owner on Instagram, you know how frustrating it is to keep up with the growing number of your audience and followers and build a customer-care oriented relationship with them. You need to send Instagram direct messages to:

  • Welcome new followers;
  • Promote new products;
  • Announce discounts;
  • Shout-out new updates on the brand;
  • Hold contests and connect with the winners; and
  • Reach out to reply to received messages from your audience.

How much time and energy will it take from you to, for instance, welcome at least 200 new followers a day, manually? Or wouldn’t it be frustrating to let know all of your followers, one by one, about a new product, or a recent update, or a discount, or whatever?

Honestly, just thinking about it drove me insane, were I about to market my brand on Instagram.

There are few web-based platforms out there that let you do the DM Marketing on Instagram right from the comfort of your PC desktop. A few of these tools are in line with Instagram’s terms of services and guidelines and the rest are literally spotted as spam by Instagram.

What are Instagram DM limits?

An Instagram Direct Message text can be no more than 1000 characters. Also, users might get action blocked if they send more than what is allowed on DM for 24 hours. Although there is no approved source of information to say what the limits are, most of the time, people are allowed to send between 50 to 100 Instagram DMs during a day. However, it doesn’t mean that if an Instagram user sends, say, about 30 messages in a day, Instagram won’t hunt them down.

The fact is that Instagram has different parameters and criteria to set the Direct Message limits for every single user (which they have never revealed in a formal mode of publicity). These might include:

  • User’s amount of activity on Instagram,
  • The profile’s age, and
  • The number of user’s connections on Instagram.

What might get you DM action blocked?

  • Sending the same set of messages over and over to the same or different Instagramers;
  • Exceeding the hourly limit of message numbers (which differs from user to user); and
  • Getting reported as a result of sending messages to non-followers.
